Trade-Ins

Bring in your old games, consoles and accessories to trade toward something new-to-you. Selling a collection worth $200+? Call ahead to book a time with a manager.

What to expect before you come in.

Straight answers to what people actually ask us, in the shop and on Instagram.

  • Not for most trades — bring your games and consoles in any time we're open. Selling a collection worth $200 or more is the exception: call ahead first, since a manager needs to be in-store to make that call and we can't promise one's available without notice.
  • Every cartridge is cleaned, every disc is checked, every console gets powered on and run before it hits the shelf. That's the same standard whether it's a $5 cartridge or a $500 console.
  • Cartridges we sell carry a small warranty seal. It protects you and us — but peeling it off yourself can lift the serial number printed underneath, and once that's gone we can't process a return on it. If there's any chance you'll want to bring something back, leave the seal alone until you've decided.
  • Depends on the job, but a lot of it is same-visit — a stuck disc drive or a drifting joystick often gets fixed on the spot, sometimes while you wait and play something on the shop's original Nintendo in the meantime. If a repair needs parts or more time, we'll tell you honestly rather than guess.

Brought a PS5 in to get repaired as the disc drive wasn't working. The team was able to fix it within 10 minutes and didn't charge me. Superb customer service! The store itself is a whole fun retro vibe — got to play Duck Hunt on the original Nintendo console while I was waiting. Highly recommend this local gem.
